Leadership is not easy. True leadership carries a weight that can cripple the best of us. Heavyleadership is not easy and my work focuses on helping leaders carry the load. My point of view on leadership has been crafted through years of experience in the Army and on the production floor as a leader for manufacturing companies. In the military my accomplishments include being awarded 3 Bronze Star Medals for service in Afghanistan and Iraq, 4 combat tours, the Combat Action Badge, The Army Parachutist badge, U.S. Army Ranger Leader School graduate, successfully commanding 2 companies one of which was during a deployment to Afghanistan and being a platoon leader in Iraq. My leadership continues today as a Major in the United States Army Reserve and as a Plant Manager for a manufacturing company in Tulsa Oklahoma. I take a “people first” approach to leadership which encourages employee engagement. I am a proud father and loving husband and work every day to make my family, employees, and my country better off than they were the day before.
